Walk True Pleasures

Picture
Follow in the footsteps of Lucinda Holdforth's True Pleasures: A Memoir of Women in Paris with this private 120-minute leisurely walking tour.  Stroll with your local guide Maisie, and trace the path of some of the great writers and salonnières of 17th-century Paris.

You will discover secret histories and a more intimate Paris as you wander through the historical Marais district. The tour ends at the Comédie-Française and Palais-Royale gardens, a short distance from the Louvre.

On request, Maisie can also design a bespoke walk for you that  includes more of your favourite True Pleasures women and places.

Your guide

Maisie is an Australian-born editor and writer who has been living in Paris since 2012. She is passionate about French history, and the great women of True Pleasures in particular.
